5/9/09 Jim's first job, in Cincinnati. Bridge under construction: no casualties, minimal damage

6/1/10 Iron workers go on strike in LA against Llewellyn Iron Works and other companies

7/10 Union officials in LA ask JJ for help and he sends Jim to California

8/10 Jim dynamites lumber company in Oakland and office building in Seattle

10/1/10 LA Times explosion

12/10 Jim meets with JJ and Ortie McManigal in Indianapolis. JJ says Tvietmoe wants a "Christmas present." Agree that Jim will bomb Llewellyn Iron Works.

12/25/10 Jim bombs Llewellyn Iron Works. Night watchman injured: $25,000 in damage.

1/11-3/11 McManigal and Jim plant bombs at five work sites in the Midwest.

4/12/11 Burns arrests Jim and McManigal in Detroit with a suitcase full of explosives; McManigal confesses and implicates JJ

4/22/11 JJ arrested in Indianapolis for Times and Llewellyn bombings. Search of barn leased by JJ and safe in union headquarters to which JJ had only keys turns up dynamite and nitroglycerin; and a dozen alarm clocks similar to one found at a bomb site.
