Subject:         Stetson College of Law Ethics In Elder Law Videos - Award for Innovation & Excellence In Teaching Professionalism

Professor Cunningham:

As an attorney in private practice and as President of the National

Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) I am writing you to support the

submission of the Stetson University College of Law Ethics in Elder Law

Videos for this year's Award for Innovation & Excellence in Teaching

Professionalism.

I have had the opportunity to participate in a number of ethics

presentations utilizing these videos and can speak from first hand

experience to their effectiveness. First of all, they pose challenging

ethical problems that attorneys encounter every day. Thus, they are

very relevant for practicing attorneys. Second, they utilize high

production values that help keep the audience's attention focused. The

most common comments I hear from attendees is that "for once I attended

an ethics presentation that didn't put me to sleep!"

The methodology of the videos sparks debate and discussion. I consider

them an invaluable learning tool.

If I can be of further assistance or you wish to discuss this further,

please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,

Stuart D. Zimring
